Toll Brothers Q2 Profit Tops Estimates, Revenue Up 22%

Toll Brothers, Inc. (TOL) reported second-quarter net income of $124.6 million, or $0.73 per share compared to $89.1 million, or $0.51 per share, a year ago. On average, 17 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.63, for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items. Pre-tax income was $199.2 million, compared to $140.4 million, prior year.

On average, 21 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.84 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
